EV charging — workplace, customer and fleet.
From a single 7 kW workplace socket to a fleet of 150 kW rapids, we scope the install, secure the grid connection and match it to the right electricity tariff.
Pick the use case first
- Workplace. 7–22 kW AC posts, dwell time 4–10 hours, one socket per 2–3 EVs on site.
- Customer / destination. 22 kW AC or 50 kW DC in customer bays, tied to a payment platform.
- Fleet depot. 22 kW AC overnight backbone with 50–150 kW DC for opportunity charging.
- Public rapid. 150–350 kW DC, usually needing a dedicated grid reinforcement.
The capacity question comes first
A ten-bay rapid site can pull more power than a small factory. Before you specify hardware, we model the load against your existing Available Capacity — often the deciding factor between an easy install and a six-figure DNO reinforcement quote. Load management software (dynamic load balancing) lets you fit more chargers into the headroom you already have.
Grants and incentives
The OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme covers up to £350 per socket, capped at 40 sockets per applicant, for eligible employers. Infrastructure grants of up to £15,000 apply to landlords and SMEs. We check eligibility during the scoping call so nothing is left on the table.
Tariff integration
EV load shifts your consumption profile — usually toward night and lunchtime peaks. That changes the shape suppliers price, and often opens up time-of-use or off-peak tariffs that beat a flat-rate contract. We re-quote the supply after commissioning so you capture the change.
