Energy audits — find the leaks before you buy more kWh.
A proper audit finds the 10–25% of consumption most sites can shed without a single capital project. We combine bill validation, half-hourly analysis and an on-site walk-through.
Three layers we look at
- Bill validation. Line by line across 12 months. Wrong VAT rate, wrong CCL, phantom reconciliation charges, availability priced against the old capacity — the errors add up.
- Data analysis. Half-hourly consumption plotted against occupancy. Overnight base load is usually the biggest single opportunity — if the building is closed and drawing 40% of daytime load, something is running that shouldn't be.
- On-site walk-through. HVAC set points, lighting controls, compressed-air leaks, hot water, refrigeration seals. We photograph findings and prioritise by payback.
What you get
- Full findings report with quantified savings per measure.
- Prioritised action list — quick wins first, capital projects flagged with payback and IRR.
- Optional ESOS Phase 3 lead assessor sign-off for qualifying organisations.
ESOS in one paragraph
The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme obliges large UK undertakings (250+ employees or £44m turnover / £38m balance sheet) to complete a full energy audit every four years and file a compliance notification with the Environment Agency. Phase 3 compliance deadline was 5 June 2024 with Phase 4 running to December 2027. We can act as lead assessor or work alongside your existing consultant.
